Here's Bobby my Royal Python. He was a rescue and has come on really well since we got him. When we got him two months ago from the rescue people he weighed 304g and they'd nursed him back from being grossly underweight - he wouldn't/couldn't eat as he had 3 layers of shed on him which were slowly strangling him, so you can tell how underweight he was poor thing. He tipped the scales on Friday night at 505g and is looking very handsome now He's a lovely snake with an equally lovely temperament Here's pics of him with my husband.
This is Byron my other Royal. He's quite a character and very, very friendly
He'd just newly shed in this pic. He's got the most gorgeous bright gold colour (yet he's a normal Royal).

They get on really well. Both snakes have grown a lot. Bobby's on weaner rats (largish ones) but Byron still refuses point blank to have anything to do with rats. Mice only please
Byron's temperament is fantastic. He seems to enjoy being handled. Mind you, Byron has been spoiled rotten since the day I got him.
Bobby on the other hand is shyer and initially on handling he's still a little nervous but settles down well after a few minutes. Hardly surprising as he had such a rotten start with his previous owners. We take it slowly and gently with him. He won't get much handling over the next couple of weeks as he's coming into shed again. _________________ 3 Royal Pythons - Byron, Bobby & Rosie
