KETCHUM, Idaho -- TOP IMAGE: Pre-surgery X-rays of Houdini, a 12-foot Burmese python that swallowed an entire electric blanket, with the electrical cord and control box, are shown. BOTTOM IMAGE: Karl Beznoska's 12-foot Burmese python, Houdini, is attended to on an operating table. It took surgery to save the python after it swallowed an entire queen-size electric blanket. "The prognosis is great," veterinarian Karsten Fostvedt said after Tuesday's two-hour operation.
