Thought I'd share this picture of my Male Lemon Pastel, he currently weighs 500 Grams. I am planning to breed him to female normal's and a spider next season. What do you think? Very Happy

Yes he was born around may/june 06, I only got him three or four months ago at 180 Grams and since then I have fed him small rats twice a week and he has increased to 500 Grams. Unfortunately he has just decided to go on a fast!!!! Evil or Very Mad

He's very nice, hope he holds his colour.... I have 1.2 Lemon pastels one female that was pretty ugly lol when younger that has turned a cool washed out? colour and the male which was bright has darkened and the other female is pretty much kept her bright colour so far..

I think that if you have two brightly coloured parents and breed them together you can still produce dull hatchlings and vice versa. This is the same with piebalds, two low pied parents can produce 90% white hatchlings Wink
