I thought I'd start a wee thread for some pictures of my inverts. I rather like my little spine-less friends (though some of them have more spine than some of the people I know).
First some of my tarantulas
Ruce (B.bohemi)
Aristole (B.klaasi)
Thunder (L.parahybana)
Lady (B.emilia)
Rochelle (A.geniculata)
My aunts tarantula (or one of them anyway) is a curly haired (cant mind how to spell latin name off top of head)
and Scruffy my aunts other tarantula. She is a red G.rosea and isn't so scruffy nw that she's moulted
My scorps
Keira the female
Keir the male
My cockroaches (there are Cuban burrowing and Madagascan hissers in there)

Here's a couple more of my tarantulas
Terra the big female B.smithi
Storm the goliath bird eater (T.blondi)
Vesper my little Brazilian black (G.pulchra)
Whisper my big female Brazil black - these are my favourite spiders I think. I have 4 at the moment, 2 males and 2 females.
Shadow my male Brazil black
Buffy my first ever tarantula (G.rosea)
Some giant millipedes for you now...
Tanzanian pink
African olive
African bronze
Big Tanzanian flat millipede (this particular animal appeared on the television series *Life in the undergrowth*). His name was Frisk
Tanzanian red leg
Madagascan fire

The Brazillians and beautiful, velvet like, whish one is the friendliest and which has the biggest attitude? |

Great collection and some real stunners there..My personal favourite is the giant white knee (geniculata) i used to keep these and they are beautifull spiders.

Hi there thanks for the comments...
To answer your questions all my Grammostolas are very docile, I have 4 roseas, 4 pulchras, 1 grossa and an aureostriata. All of them are little sweeties.
The most angry tarantula I have is little Thunder up there. My lad took a cracking picture of him in a more typical pose a few weeks ago. He attacks the water as I put it into his dish and pounces on anything that moves, you can't put your hand in there.
See the picture he's labelled as "Evil Spider". Thats my special little boy.

My big genic Rochelle is an unpredictable one, when I first got her she was very docile and you could easily coax her where ever you wanted. However she had a moult and is now totally unpredictable. She might suffer being proded out the way for you to fill her water dish but other times she'll lunge at you.

WOAH. EvilSpider2 is one helluva picture!
How on earth do you clean him out?
I don't mind spiders of any kind, but that's SCARY.
Even my partner raised his eyebrows, and that's a lot coming from him. |

I can't get my hands anywhere near the begger so I have to get him into a small box using a pair of tweezers to prod him in.
Here's another couple of pictures of him
I wondered today just exactly how docile Whisper was and tried to see if she'd pose in some festive gear. Not really sure if the white and red goes with black.

Pedro (Ruce's future man)
A bronze millipede, grooming himself. They must be quite vain these millipedes as I always seem to see them grooming.
Red legged millipedes
I love these, they are an American millipede species. I have young in the tank just now and I think this is what they are
