Hi,

Does anyone know of anywhere in the UK where you can buy CGD in bulk like on the attached US website?

http://www.acreptiles.com/supplies_CGD.htm

Thanks.

Roger.

any reptile shop will be able to order it thru their normal wholesalers, no idea what the retail price is though.

It's hard, believe me I've tried, they seem unwilling to even try and not even the likes of the big net herp shops don't seem to to sell it,I think they make to much from selling the 50g tubs to want to bother Rolling Eyes

There's a new one out in the US (developed etc. by Repashy). It's a gecko base food which you can add fruit/babyfood to without altering the balance. I wonder when we will get it over here??

Thomas,

Eurorep & Peregrine sells it, I'm sure if you told you local shop that they can buy it from them and get it delivered with their next order.

Failing that try the online eurorep shop, advert on the bottom of this forum (no it won't be listed but they do stock it)

i don't use it at all
my cresties don't like it
i make my own babyfood mixture and add honey, avian vitamins, banana, mango etc and calcium to it
thats twice a week and other times they get crickets wich they really love

i tried mixing cgd with my mix but results where not great.

All of my Rachs are know only eating pure T-rex diets even the 3 young I got of Scott last Thursday Very Happy a few of my Cresties and Aurics even eat Leachie diet which looks and smell pretty bland on it's own.The hardest ones to transfer over where 3 adult females I traded my male Leachie for, they had been feed a diet high in insects and are still not eating that much but I think/hope that also has to do with them currently having their winter break.I found it hard to stop mixing with baby food but doing this messes with the balance of the mixture,if you offer it long enough they will start taking it and if it's good enough for Allen.......

mine didn't like the cgd so i experimented with banana and it worked but my own mix works even better

We looked into it, having only one crestie though we decided it'd last us about a year!
