Did anyone else see the ridiculous article in the Daily Mail about and adder (this week) which crawled into a woman's bed through her window and bit her on the leg!

most adders are in hibernation at the moment

Climbed in through a window means big BIG adder

The so called expert purported to be able to positively identify a Vipera Berus bite by looking at it!

Interesting though suspect........unless anyone knows otherwise?

let me get this right, this time of a year, an adder crawled through a window, (bedroom upstairs?) so either climbed through an upstairs window, or slithered its ass up the stairs. then went into someones bed, bit it, and i assume, slithered back out of the bed, climbed back through the window and was never seen?
could happen i suppose. i imagine its unlikely though. interesting

This is very suspect and stinks of some sort of cover up by the person bitten!

I saw this on the news, as well as the paper... What a load of s**t... The other funny thing was the size of the bite, would have had to be a meter long adder... Also, there was no other teeth marks?????? Although its an adder it will still have other teeth.. This sort of news give snakes and snake keepers a load of hassle.. N***HEADS

The adder bite was confirmed by a guy called Neil Trickett?

Anyone know of him?

Here's the link to the Daily mail Article though this Isnt the one which was actually printed.

Mind you looking at the photo on the web site a bite from an adder with a fang spread of that size would be a record breaker and would have left her in serious danger ----I know through experience what a vipera berus bite does!!!

This is bull!!!!
