Have a good friend who has an old (really old!) E. quatourlineata but thats the only person I've heard of recently that's keeping them in the UK! I think they're a nice species, need quite extensive Winter cooling from what I remember? _________________ Regards James Stroud |

Stroud: The E. quatuorlineata that lives on the mainland grows quite big (upto 2meters+).. The islandform that I keep is only about a little more than half of the mainland forms size (110-130cm´s..). The wintercooling is about 3 months in temp about 6-8 degrees C.
Peaches: Yup.. _________________ *** Miqe ***

Not really.. I know that one person in Denmark has kept them before, but I don´t know if he is still keeping them. And one person in Germany.. And me..
The snake is easy to keep, and a "kind" species. The rarley bite, even if you catch it in the wild.
The good thing about the E. q. muenteri, is that it does not grow so big (110-130 cm´s) compared to E. q. quatuorlineata.. (200+ cm´s..) _________________ *** Miqe ***

The one my friend has is E.q.quatourlineata and definately does bite!! It's a fair size as well, pushing 5 foot roughly? Great feeder though
Best of luck with them! Make sure you post if you have any breeding success _________________ Regards James Stroud |

Ohh..
I have never got bitten by one, and I kept a group of 6 adult animals in one cage. Feeding them all at the same time, inside the terrarium. (Kinda beats going fishing..)
Of course I will, but it will probably have to wait for at least 2 years, as they are born -06. _________________ *** Miqe ***
