Hi
One of my females which I am cycling has gone down to 1040grms from about 1250grms.
I have warmed her up and she has started pounding small rats down.
I am keeping her at normal day time temps with just a small night drop and keeping reduced light hours.
I have seen her in a lock definately twice.
She has been cycled for about 6-8 weeks uptill a few days ago.
Qs
1: Is it worth keeping on putting her with the male even though I have stopped (proper cycling) and am fattening her up?
2: If she still chooses the cold end of box after eating, are they clever enough to thermoregulate themselves and not end up with rotten rat in stomach?

If you have an area which is hot enough for digestion and to feel secure (hides) then yes she'll go to it if not then maybe not as for breeding well all i can give you is that personally i'd wait till she hits 1500g then worry about it. I bought a pair last April and the guy in the shop did me a favour by just chucking em in the same viv to see if they'd breed and they hadn't been cycled etc and i got 3 eggs and 3bubbas from the female so you may get lucky still!
