Well I know it's a little late but I finally started cooling my pythons down last night, decided to just switch off ALL heat to the racking and let it drop to ambient room temp, which seems to be around 78f at night.
I am also increasing humidity too.
Will leave it a little while before I start introducing anything.
Hopefully the dwarf burmese may even mate too _________________

cheers bud, only 1 pair of royals but they are locked up at the mo so here's hoping for a few normals this year.
Will keep back all females for the mojo and pastel i hope to get next year! _________________ 1.0 striped supersalmon DEAD

In the THE COMPLETE BALL PYTHON...by Kevin McCurley, he says females should 1000grm plus.
A lot of other breeders etc say 1500grm.
what is the lowest weight female royal you are considering breeding.

I have some females that are now at 1200g, they will be cycled and mated, if they continue with their feeding they should hit 1500g by April. I may even go down to 1000g if it's really 'on' with it's feeding. _________________

One of my females which was over 1200grams has dropped to 1000grms. She has mated a couple of times, but has stopped feeding, so I might leave her. I will give her a week or 2 to see if will feed up. If not She will have to wait till next year. Unless already done so to speak.
thanks

Touch wood! Best of luck with both of them mate, maybe then you'll be able to show me a 'morph' I don't think is a normal until you tell me it's not!! _________________ Regards James Stroud |
