Hello there,

I usually find this the most difficult post, can never think of what to say. I'll start with my pet keeping history.

I've always been very keen on animals. In my younger days my pets included most things you can find in the garden from snails to spiders. Always found it fun feeding the spiders in the shed on flies Cool Weird how I don't really like spiders at all now.

Annnyway, when I was old enough to be allowed to get a reptile for a pet, I started off with good old Leopard Geckos. I got them as hatchlings, (2 females luckily) kept these for a couple of years and enjoyed them a lot. Eventually I got a male and bred the leo's successfully. In the meantime I also kept an array of other pets; Green Anoles, almost every available species of Mantis there is (bred these too) and many species of stick insects. Due to being much more busy with work and the likes, I eventually sold my male leopard gecko, and other herps, and left it for a while.

Just recently, I came across some Crested Geckos on a random internet site. As I had never heard of the things before, I looked into what they were etc and realised I had to have some. (The thought to be extinct part, until 1994, of the crested gecko story amazes me Surprised). After some research I got a hatchling Crested roughly 2 weeks ago.

I'm also on the lookout for another young Crested, but no look so far Sad.

That's about it as far as my pets are concerned. I'm 19 years old and currently attending University.

Cya around,

Ste.

hi Cleef,

Welcome, yep nice intro Wink

Cresties certainly are great, it's a shame to think that they will probably be extinct eventually in the wild (think there's a fire ant problem over there ?)

Enjoy the forums.
