Im using a zoo med little dripper for my chameleon, but im having a problem with it. I will it with water and adjust the flow rate to give me about a drip every second or so, then after say a minute it stops dripping...with maybe the odd drip.
Its getting really anoying to have to keep messing with it, id like it to just work all day or atleast for a few hours without me having to be there.
Anyone else had this problem? Got any solutions? |

I think anyone who has a dripper has this problem- it works like a dream when you stand there and watch it and stops the minute you leave the room! I have tried all weird and wonderfull things to get mine to stay constant.on one of them I have cut the tube so its only an inch long and this sits directly on the mesh thanks to a valve from some old bit of aquarium gear. I have also experimented with tightening/loosening the lid it made a tiny bit of difference but not much, also when the dripper warms up it drips faster. In all honesty I am giving up on them and going over to those fantastic and attractive Lucky Reptile ones that you can place inside the cages. I do like the Lucky Reptile stuff as it is quality gear. All I can say is just wriggle and jiggle about with the valve as best you can.

i tend to place mine as high as possible so the dripper tube is pointing almost straight down this helps the flow go and prevents air bubbles!
Your problem may be trapped wind _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
