£70 is great for chahoua, I couldn't buy any babies in the USA and sub adults were going for $900 a pair.
Leachies, £200 is a good price for babies too.
Buy both _________________

Hi there,
I'm not breeding them yet but hopefully in the next coming years I should be. I have a pair of henkeli (though the male is only a year old) and 1:0:1 chahoua (the youngster is around 10 months old and, fingers crossed, hasn't developed a bulge yet).
At the end of the day it depends what you want to get out of them. I find the chahoua to be the most active of the two species. They also seem to be the most laid back out of all the Rhacs species I keep - they are more tolerant to handling. They are very good feeders - neither of mine have refused anything I've offered them.
Leachies on the other hand... for me it's just the size of them that impresses. They aren't the most active of species when they reach adulthood (as babies they are fairly active). Mine will plod around her viv at night but it's mainly to feed. I expect her behaviour will change when the male is introduced to her. Leachies do come with a bit more character - the vocalisation for instance. The first time my female growled I was quite shocked...lol. Obviously the downside to leachies is they require a much larger viv (even though they don't seem to utilise it).
I do keep them more or less the same as my other Rhacs. The chahouas get a slightly heavier misting. The leachies need thick chunky branches to lounge on. Dietry wise - they're all fed a similar diet of fruit/livefoods. The main difference being my Leachie (adult) has pinky/fuzzies in her diet. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie
