My friend is fine, has a good laugh about it all now although if you see the look of fear in some of the photos I took you would be creasing up (he would terrified of needles NOT the croc bite )
Yep the caiman was a great animal, unfortunately it died in a very bad fire that destroyed the entire premesies. _________________

Man that is an awefull shame about the fire. Your friend must be well gutted
On another note my work colleague lost 3 of his fingers in a machine accident in our woodwork-shop on monday.
For some reason it made me think about what could happen to me if I was ever biten by one of my charges and I lost digits fom necrosis.
Not a very nice thought........now I'm even more careful. _________________ You can't trust the snake......but you can always trust the snake to be a snake. |

Eeek! That looks bad! I think a lot of people underestimate the power of these animals to do real damage. Glad your friend was OK, though. _________________

Our Caimans at work are pretty docile but having seen what they can do to a broom handle, (and now a hand) I tend to be pretty wary of them
