Out of interest, do Chondros do well in setups like that? I mean nowhere to hide.

Cheers

They will have some artificial plants by the weekend.

At the moment they are all exploring the new surroundings.

I copied the set up off some US breeders web sites so hope the snakes will settle OK

I took this a few minutes ago.

This is one of my male Manokwari type chondros

Nicely marked snake.

this might sound a bit daft, but what exactly is the difference between say the mankowari and sarong types, (beside the price) ? the ones i am familiar with are the arus(small and gentle but delcate),biaks(large and feisty, but hardy), kaifu?(all yellow and very pricey), sarongs i have heard of but no reports on temperament/hardiness, ditto the mankowari.
ALL look very similar ,although on closer inspection (myopia rules!) i can discern slight colour differences. Confused

by the way, are those exo-terra's you are using? that is what i am considering for my own gtp when adult, would be interested to know how you are fitting perches. Smile

Coloration seems to be the main issue though there does seem to be debate on this locality.

Yes they are exo terra vivs.

The problem with them is they are open (apart from grill) and that means they will not retain either humidity or temp in UK.

I've filled the top 75% with perspex to combat this.

Two f the new six arrivals have fed this evening.
