what veg can i feed to my baby bearded dragons.only taking crix at the mo any suggestions on what to feed them?

i feed my beardies Italian salad the stuff in a packet that you get from asda they love it Very Happy

is it called Italian salad? how much should i feed a week, im feeding crix everyday dusted every day.is this ok?

yes it is called Italian salad amounts depends on how old your dragon is if it is a young dragon then its diet wants to be mainly crix and locusts with greens fed 2 times a week as they hit adult hood i feed them mainly greens with locusts and crix fed 3 times a week

well defiantly feed mostly crix and locusts beardies have a very high metabolism at that age they are burning up calories quick because there growing at a rapid rate they reach adult hood by about 18 months then you can alter your feeding program i fined that feeding them mostly protein after this age makes them fat and that's not good as they can get fatty liver disease

Use wax worms as a treat only. Black crickets are fine.

yes they will be fine but don't leave any in the tank after lights out as they will bite your beardie and stress him out. lobster Roche's are another good feeder for beardies if you can get hold of them there full of goodness and soft bodied always be sure to gut load your feeder insects at least a day before feeding to your beardie Very Happy
