I've been raising a group of White's Treefrogs. These frogs morphed around the begining of July so they are only about 3 - 3 1/2 months old now. They have been raised at a little above room temperature and fed a diet mostly consisting of Phoenix Worms. Today while cleaning them out I caught one calling, took him out for a better look and he has developed his nuptial pads as well, this is the earliest age I've ever found one to be sexable.

andrew very very nice mate i had to make a decision on either to buy a african bull frog or 3 white tree frogs and i made the decision and i have now got 3 white tree frogs they the Indonesian type here are a few pics of 1 and the other is shy Laughing i am happy with my decision Smile

The indonesian ones are very nice! I think your camera lens or set up is distorting the pics a bit. Good luck with them!

andrew could you please tell me the sex of my white there please if possible i will snap you a pic of my other if he/she stays still Laughing thats if they are at the age but last night i was in my room and all a sudden 1 started calling it was realy loud and lasted for abit but i could not see wich it was due to lights being off the pic i put up is the biggest of the 2 but i have a third that is at the pet shop same size as the 1 i posted . its at the shop because it had a small cut on it and its nose . it is being treated and ill collect when is cured Smile

They are not very good pictures to sex from but just looking at the baggyness of the throat on the one entitled "whitey big eyes.jpg" I'd say that ones a male.

It's probably just abrasion from transport, normally small cuts & scrapes heal very quickly just by washing with cool clear water and keeping them warm and clean.
