hi! this is one species in Tan Phu forest. we are call Ran Hoc Tro (snake pupil, only Vietnamese). you see in neck have red, in Vietnam pupil carry red scarf. is this nice? I like it, because very specail. i will send latin name on next time.

Just been looking through one of my books - Snakes and other reptiles of peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand by M J Cox et al
The above snake looks very much like the rear fanged red necked keelback - Rhabdophis subminiatus
If that's the correct identification then its a frog /toad eater and its bite can be quite nasty too.

Is that the correct snake then?
Nope not professional, just a hobby, although I do work with reptiles now, cant get enough of them.
I'm looking forward to see what other species you get over there.
Take care with that one though- a bite from it could have nasty consequences.
