Royals up to 2KG can live in conticos yes but if it's a pet royal rather than breeding then a viv may be better suited for display purposes.
Costs:
Normal if it's CB anything from £60+ for a baby
Pied: i've seen em start from £3,500 i think offhand
Het Pied: 100% pairs for around £950
Albino: £1200-1500
Het Albino: £350-750 a pair depending on who you buy from and what age they are.

If your keeping them as pets then a single can live happily in a 3x18x18 or a 4x2x2 for a pair, provided that there are plenty of hides & coverings. They can also do well in suitable sized plastic containers.
Unless your are planning to invest into morphs, i would go with a normal. There not very good as a display animals so spending £1000s on a snake that hides away all day may be a bit of a disappointment for some. On the other hand if you have wads of cash why not treat yourself to pair of albinos |

It means they are being fed with the help of a human.
For a first royal, definitely don't touch 'em with a 10 foot barge pole _________________

Assist Feeding is when you put the head of the mouse into the snakes mouth or part of the mouse down the snakes throat and it swallows the rest itself.
Force feeding is when you get the mouse down the snakes throat all the way to the belly almost or some will just swallow once the rodent has disappeared into their throat.
hope that helps, Rachel _________________ 20 Corns
