Very hard to get a mate for it Dan. (haven't sexed it yet btw). They don't come up often even in the US as no one wants them. Having said that I will get my friend to ask Glades if they can send the new starters out to catch one for me.. The owners say they are too old to be catching coachwhips now, safer to stick with venomous Razz
I think these snakes are fantastic though, even the little eastern is just spirited, not really nasty. Bites at everything else but not the hand it's on. Very very fast though, my smaller western male has got me on the face and I was 4ft from the viv, he just launched into space at me, feeding response though I knew it was coming as he looked me in the eyes.
I certainly intend breeding them, I have tried the last two years with the westerns but have had 2 incubator/heat mat failures, next year I may try a different method. Tricky eggs to incubate though by all accounts, they go mouldy and die very easily.

Hi Hannah...

If you let me know when you are likely to be down (weekends mainly), then I'll try to bring one of the coachwhips in. Probably smokey my fat male, hes good as gold as long as he doesn't think there's food around. Razz
