Right time for me to annoy you all (or Stu at least) again. I'm finally going to get my new camera, so I was wondering what would be the best of these 2, finepix s5600 and s7000? From what I can make out the spec for the s5600 is better than the s7000!?!? So what would you suggest, or is there a better camera in that price bracket that I've overlooked? |

Glad your getting a new one Ross.A friend of mine recently got the S5600 and is over the moon with it.I had a little go with it and found it was a cracking little camera..whats your price limit? As the nikon D50 can be had for about £300 and even a used D70 or D70s for a similar price. _________________

So the s5600 is definately worth it then? It's the worst part about buying a camera, the last 2 I've bought ended up being a total waste of money.
Price-wise, since it's christmas time, I don't really want to go over the 200 mark. I saw the Minolta Dimage z5 for a good price, but am dubvious about shipping it from the US.
But as soon as the new year comes I'll be saving up for a D70, I still can't believe the quality of those 'tic photos you posted up a while back. |

The fuji it is then. Cheapest I've seen it thus far is 142 notes, doubt I'll get it any cheaper than that. |
