Not sure how long ago this happened but I was told about an American ball python breeder that was burgled. He had all his high end visual animals stolen (which is bad enough), but to add insult to injury they also released all of his Het's onto the floor. The poor fella now has no way of id'ing which are het for what morph, basically making them worthless or adding years to his breeding programs.

Basically if you have hets, photograph them and keep this seperate to the snakes, or better still get microchips in them.

Good Advise Scott, all our hets are this years so at the moment I know which they are, but might look at getting them chipped in the future
