I watched the program where they claimed he is in full working order, all kind of suspicious when you watched him handling it. I wouldn't handle any 12 foot snake the way he was that animal, let alone a venemous one!!

He was also featured in a program about venomous snake bites, that may well be the program you are referring to Dan. I would be VERY surprised if it was a venomous, I cant remember the guys name but he had a spiritual feeling that he was at one with the snakes, and it had been documented by various people, that he had claimed this and acted upon it ever since he was a little boy. Because of this he has absolutely no fear of the snakes and handles venomous snakes the same way he would a corn snake.... if you truly believe that you are at one with the venomous snakes then why would you be afraid of them?

I have no doubt that that is a hot snake, the proof of him working with hots is in that he Had been bitten twice during his life time, once he survived with no ill effects, and the second time it cost him his life. Partly because he believed that his relationship with the animals would get him through the bite unscathed.

I am VERY certain that this is the same guy, both he and the village look familiar from the documentary I saw. He did handle venomous snaked in incredible ways.
