I am wanting to seal a wooden viv, normally I would reach for the Geocel aquarium sealant howver I have discovered it gives me weird side effects. So. I am seeking a good safe alternative, I found a tube of pure silicone on a website and at 2.30 for a 315ml thought it was good value - untill I saw the PP was £9.99. So can anyone suggest anything from anywhere that wont cost a small mortgage, will do the job but obviously doesn't contain fungacides, and a tube that can be used with the gun type gizmo.Thankyou love Jan.

Sanitary silicone such as that used in bathrooms; your quite right avoid like the plague. Try a BQ or Homebase own brand standard grade bog standard general sealant silicone in whatever colour you want.
