|
|
Well i don't have any girls that are on the 2kg mark just yet but it won't be long and i like to be prepared for upsizing housing and as we're going to make wooden racks with conticos i was wondering what size boxes adult females need ideally, some have said the 64litre really usefuls are big enough and if they are then i'll just scrap conticos and use really usefuls which i am debating anyway but if not what do people use? I do have some long boxes but i'd personally prefer to have even width and length rather a rack that sticks 3ft out into the room and i want boxes that are readily avaialble and are likely to continue being made as being fussy i like things to match as best as possible.
So if anyone can give me guidelines on suitable boxes then i'd be greatful!

Mike winracks are very good, that who i was going with, but it is 12 weeks manufacture, then i went with easyracks, but then it was 5 weeks, then it passed phoned him, then another 6 etc so i canceled and went an bout the other one as you know, just waiting for the heat strips now
Bu yes easy racks didn't have good customer care at all, i had to keep phoning him and be on his back all the time, so not worth it |

I've got the high humidity rack from Winnick and must admit that they are definately worth the wait.
Before ordering this rack though I was going to make my own rack and use the newish contico under bed boxes. These were very similar size to those that Snakekeeper use. They are also good as they are not as see through as the normal conticos giving the snake a bit more privacy.
I could try and find a link for them if you don't know which ones I mean. |

Only thing that stops me is i could make a wooden one for less than half the price and lol im 18 working in retail so not much income wise once deducting transport fees, food at college/work, snake stuff so ya know. Also can't decide if i like the look of metal racks or not and for lidless racks i was quoted an extra £25 per layer and i don't like the fact they get rusty on top...
