yellow ackie babies go from £100 up to £150 (depending on where and what bloodlines)

Kimberly Rock monitor babies are £350 upwards

They are about the two easiest to get.

I went for the ackie personally. Got mine from reptilebreeder.co.uk (£125 couriered next day by 12 noon) the owner Jason is a forum member (Jas) who's a very knowledgeable bloke and has been a big help in getting me started with monitors.

Find my ackie (Genghis) very gregarious, always up at the viv glass nebbing at us. Hasn't minded being handled since the day he arrived (although gotta watch him cos hes fast!).

Pretty easy to keep, I'd already got beardies and care is not so much different, just a bit of tweaking with temps, diet and we were sorted.

What do you keep already?
