In my experience, I would not classify parsonii as a beginer chameleon species. They require a very significant hydration and drainage system due to their slow nature toward starting to drink, lengthy drinking periods, laziness in moving toward water sources like drippers, etc. This obviously creates significant problems with drainage and airflow and bacterial and funcal infections can be common if not carefully regulated. If you have any particular questions, let me know.

oke thanks...i know about hydration, and the high humidity.....i will not be gettin them this year, but maybe the next, and of course i will be prepared...i have experience...i mean i have two iguanas, boa constrictors times 2...corallus hortulanus, yemen chameleon(female),and a green dragon...this year i am gettin dipsosaurus dorsalis(iguanas are my favorite )..but i really like the parsonii because of the size, and the high humidity is one of the reasons i am interested in them(i have room, and i love constructing vivariums)...i have read and seen about the terrarium for parsonii(i am sorry for my poor english i dont know how to say this) the holes? Embarassed ...in the terrarium that is at the bottom of the terrarium....and i will of course construct it before they come...but i am interested about the posible problem except the high humidity/mold issue...and of course about breeders near me(germany, austria) and the price...so except the mold issue...what else should i worry about and prepare for?
thanks alot
regards

Hello 200 euros seems very cheap to me. I have no personal experience in keeping them, so would not like to comment. However I do know of people who have and do keep them. By all accounts they are not an easy species to keep. With the correct information and set up, and previous perhaps medium to long term chameleon experience, then perhaps they may be worth considering. Good luck!
