Im asking to see if anyone on here who owns or knows about boa costrictors can help me.
i have a five year old male boa constrictor which has not eaten now for 8 weeks and over the past 3 weeks i have noticed he has about 5 or 6 small markings on his body where his scales have turned to a slighty grey moulding sort of colour. im wondering if anyone has any theories into what this could be he has lost no weight over the eight weeks but i have noticed he is going to be shedding in the next couple of weeks. If anyone can help please chat back thanks

The raised scales could just be where he has scuffed them in his viv.I wouldnt worry too much about the feeding as he is an adult male and they do tend to feed more sporadically..as long as you monitor his weight he should be fine..also if he is coming up to shed this would explain lack of interest in his food at the moment. Cool
