WOW! What fab creatures they are too!
Beautiful, pics, well done with breeding them!
Ive been lucky enough to see them wild in Arizona, along with some very scary rattlers too! The pics at top of stream show very bright colours, the ones we saw wild, were a duller colouration, why would this be? Is it depending on how much UV you expose them to, much like Beardies?

The gilas have been selectivily bred to intensify the colouration.

I don't think any one keeps gilas under UV as they don't require it.

Oh rite, wow! The more I learn about herps, the more I fall in love with them all!!! Theres so much diversity and *fantasticness about them! *(Think I may have invented a new word, just for reps!)Very Happy
