If you've seen actually how chunky their heads are you'd wish to dear god they wouldn't hold on for more then a quick bite but due to their envenomation system they choose to hold on and chew Crying or Very sad

they quite often 'roll' once bitten onto something too (that would make a right mess of your finger...lol)

Hi Karl,

Had them for over 3 years now. Not really into beaded lizards as much, a little too big for my set ups.

I'd like to get different gilas next, H.s.cinctum rather than the beadeds.

wow amazing scott the closest ive ever came to seing them is on discovery channel Laughing
are they cb or wc also are they easy to breed?

Hi,

They were captive bred in the USA, they appear to be quite easy to breed once you know the sexes. Hopefully I may be lucky for next year.

will you need any additional licence to breed(sell) or is it covered on your dwa

They are on the DWA, so if I was lucky enough to have excess animals to sell, I could only sell to other DWA holders, although at present the Law states that it's not my responsibility to double check or even see their license (although common sense will mean that I would ask for a valid photo copy Wink )
