I'd never thought about hots like that before Scott. Sort of makes sense when you see it like that, although i'd rather get bitten by a fish than a hot whilst cleaning out. Very Happy

yes, although he wasn't from the UK (or the USA). He was bitten by an adult female, within a couple of hours he was being sick, then bad pains, then he was taken to hospital (by air ambulance I beleive). He was given adrenilin shots and kept in over night.....so all in all, a gila is not something to get bitten by...lol

Has there been many deaths from thier bites?..or recorded deaths i should say.

Not read about any deaths, plenty of pain, vomitting and some swelling etc lol
