We have noticed quite a lot of you are adding images in your signature. We are happy to leave this function switched on but we do need a few little rules to help stop the forum getting confusing and cluttered and also to help keep the speed of the forum up.

Signature image rules.
1- Max size 300*100 (see example), smaller if you can though Wink

2- No offensive images
3- No adverts
4- It is not allowed to be linked to a commercial site (ie if you click on it you will go to a online shop etc) or other reptile forums
5- rule 5 cancelled Wink

6- Image must be hosted elsewhere (imageshack etc)
7- You will be asked to remove any images that constantly fail to load
8 - Banner size images can now also be used 468x60

Example of size

Please resize all current Signature Images, any that remain over the size limit will be deleted by Admin after 14th October 06.

I don't have any problems with that.Shame to see Karens handy-work not on display but I can use it elsewhere.
Fully understand the logic behind your request though Scott.

No 3 & 4 are for ALL members,for images ONLY,

ANYONE can have a text link to their websites in their signature this rule is just for images in that space.

We have sent pm's out to most people regarding image sizes, please if you see images that are far too big can you let a mod know so we can remove or ask for it to be re-sized.
