As the title suggests, i went to Cotswold wildlife park today. It was great, they had a great array of animals, from siamangs to tapirs, peccaries to llama and anacondas to a Fiji iguana.

It was great! especially the reptile house, probably the best i have been in, even though smaller than others. The best animals were:
- a large breeding group of Cuban boas, the babies were on display to.
- an Asian water monitor, about 5/6 ft long.
- a trio of some other smaller monitor.
- a breeding group of 4 western diamond-back rattle-snakes . 2 of them were visual albinos, the other 2 were het for albino.
- a large fat gaboon viper.
- a large group of morelets crocodiles.
- Two 20ft retics.
- 4 anacondas, of various sizes, the largest being about 18ft.
-Aldabra giant tortoises
and best of all
- the only fiji banded iguana on display to the public in the UK.

It was great i can highly recommend it.

Pics soon

i forgot to mention that CWP has links with BJ herp suppiles (reptilekeeping.net) and some of the pics on there site are taken at the zoo, so whilst i get mine you could look at those. Most of the ones donated my Marc Ormand are from the zoo.

The fiji iguana came from them to.

cwp park reptile house is fantastic. The curator marc ormond is a really knowledgable guy i learnt loads of him. The morletts group have recently dropped eggs i was lucky enough to help in the removal of the eggs from the enclosure.

The Gaboon they have is awesome, worth a visit just to see it. It has a huge triangular head like a shovel.
