|
As the title suggests, I am looking to build a 7x2x2 viv, since this is a bit larger than your standard viv, is there anything I need to do to reinforce it? Or should I construct a frame from 2x4, and build around that? Please reply as if I were a simple person, the last viv I built fell apart when I rested my coffee on it, so I'm not the most versed at DIY terminology. _________________

I made my 6x3x3 viv via a 2x2 framework, but made mine into sections that came apart, ie side was one panel etc, inside the framework I put polystyrene sheets, and coverd both sides with marine ply.
If I can help mate and ya wanna chat PM me your number and I'll talk u through what I did, would take waay to long to type! _________________ 1.0 striped supersalmon DEAD

I purchased the vivarium in the picture about 2 months ago and so far its had three vivs on top all with sand in them so a lot of weights, the design works really well and i like the idea of two doors easier for feeding etc.
