Anyone ever see these in the UK before?
Found this yesterday, apparently they are common in Europe, I've never seen one before. You can see it's egg case in the top right. _________________

Scott; that is a wasp spider Argiope bruennichi. They are commoner in Europe, but becoming more abundant over here (in southern England anyway). Goldenburm's pic is a zebra spider (Salticidae).
Don't ask why I know this stuff (geek tendencies lol!!!).
