some great photos there, doubt if I'd ever want the worry of keeping a king but the kaouthia are great, I had a gorgeous pair of albinos and a chocolate female, I believe Chester Zoo ended up with them.

That one was the male. The female is even bigger, the head on her is huge.

unfortunatly the pics are too good, but we'll leave them to settle for a while now before getting any more

DAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNGGGGGGG!!!

I had heard it was a big'un but that is just one fine lookin snake (scuff doesn't look that bad?)
I assumed it was male at that size, although there seems to be some confusion about the dimorphism? Not sure why the Indo ones would be the reverse of the others with females bigger, be interested to find out though thats for sure.

I would just love to get up close and personal with any of those animals. I wish you only the very best of luck with them, i know from second hand experience how hard adults can be to keep alive when they want to be.

There was a pair of babies at Hamm, we were tempted by those but i wouldn't be comfy keeping them for reasons that don't belong on here.

So very nice and i am so very jealous (can you tell?)

P.S.
Peter could well be that on live food? I only know him from the dutch forums.

Incrediable creatures,I met Mark Oshea at a talk at a local colledge a few years ago and someone asked him what was his favorite reptile is,his eyes lit up and you can guess what he answered,it seems that every one that see's them in the flesh is hypnotised by their beuty, size and intellegence. Cool

Assuming you're talking about Kings not Mark (LOL!)

Rich has been talking to his friend in the states, he's a big venomous keeper and he reckons you can train Kings and Black Mamba's because of their intelligence.

Siiiiit!!!! Laughing
