Oli, have a good browse through that link I posted for you on the other thread.

Here are a few pointers for Jacksonii.

Aboreal vivarium, heavily planted. Potted figs (Ficus) are by far the best option for ease of cleaning. A mesh top makes it easy to position the UV tubes and basking spots correctly.

Establishing a temperature gradient is important, suitable indoor range being 75 to 79 f (24 -25c), but provide perches that enable the Chameleon to bask at 85f (29c).

Water is best provided with a drip system as well as light misting. Moderate humidity suits the species.

Cleanliness is paramount to success with them so again the potted plant option allows you the best of both worlds, as you can clean easily and regularly. I wouldn`t bother with a substrate other than perhaps paper, or provide a drainage system for even easier cleaning.

Jacksonii really do appreciate an outdoor enclosure also and benefit greatly from the use of it whenever possible. An enclosure built around a bush/tree that receives early morning sun suits well, but watch for over heating later in the day in high Summer.

Air conditioning has to be the way forward for indoor keeping in my opinion.

Feeding, insectivorous obviously , just keep the size of the food appropriate to the size of the animal.

Communal keeping is possible but make the enclosure very large, very densely planted and provide a choice of basking spots. Still this is not guaranteed to work so keep an eye on behaviours and be prepared to seperate if neccessary. I wouldn`t attempt to keep two males in the same enclosure!
