I had a staff and she was absolutely lovely. You need a strong will but if you've got that then you're headed for a wonderful breed. They've got bags of energy as well and need lots of exercise to keep them happy but they're incredibly loyal and have their own funny quirks to keep you amused. In my experience, they don't do well if they're bored. They need lots of stimuli and that's why I no longer have one. My hours of work both at home and otherwise are too long for a staff who'd be bored stupid sitting on my lap of an evening.
Get a poodle!!
