Saw an add on e-bay for a wormery, thought good idea, shall start one up for my amphibians. So bought 3.5kg of worms from another supplier all arrived foine good no problems.
Ordered a wormery from

The cheque has been paid into their account over two weeks ago I have checked this with my bank, I have kept contacting them as the goods have still not been sent out keep getting excuses, cant find records, etc etc, now they ignore my emails! Not good! Not impressed, in fact extremely angry with them.

 Not good Rick...I know loads of people that buy from ebay without problems and most are genuine sellers I'm sure but never have and never will buy from there.

I will, I am very tenacious in such circumstances, its not the money but the principle! I will hound them until I get a result.

Thats the thing, I emailed them as did not want to pay via paypal, they sent me their details so it ended up a straightforward purchase minus involvement of e-bay. So I am stuffed as far as e-bay is concerned, but I can prove my cheque was paid into their account. Unless they have gone bust overnight I will get my money back. I get the impression they are incompetent to say the least and maybe a bit dodgy perhaps.
I have even found this in the herp world also sadly enough, where livestock warranties are not honoured etc. Some traders will more than happily be co-operative and maintian good business relationships when things go wrong, some others just do not have the people skills and are just greedy.
Overall though my experience with herp rellated dealers and traders has been 85% very good.

I have emailed again today kept it polite, but accused them of theft, because taking my money and then ignoring me and not sending out the goods is theft in my view.
Ok it's only £29.98 but it's the principle not the money.
Later when I get time I shall contact the Trading Standards office.
