Hi Dan,
Haven't quite managed to hatch Boiga myself but have the following data:-
My B. nigriceps were incubated at 28C and I opened them at 102 days, were full term dead, I estimated they should have hatched about 5 days earlier. Eggs heavily calcified so snakes unable to cut through shell.
From an article by Joachim Bulian in Litteratura Serpentium on B. cyanea. 83 days at constant 30C. In unregulated incubator in Thailand at 23-31C both B. cyanea and B. nigriceps took between 94 and 106 days.
Hope that's of use.
Regards
Mark |
