I have one of these myself and find it INVALUABLE. It has been worth more than it`s weight in gold and I thoroughly reccomend it. I recently took one down to Rick as well who has been getting quite dangerous with it by all accounts!
Still, never mind that, here it is;

I got mine from there a while back, i went for what must be a higher model though as that one has a limited temp range (no good for testing ceramics) the accuracy is a little too innacurate for me and the resolution isn't accurate for me. _________________ TFA

Mine`s been very accurate. Tested it with a few other thermometers. It`s normally £49.99 or something daft like that. Have you got the information on the other model Dan? I ASSUME it is the other model that you bought. Cheap and cheerful is sometimes (but admittedly rarely) better. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

The one i have is the CHY130
Range= -30 to 550
Accuracy= +-1% on -30 to 100, +-2% on 101 to 550
Accurate to 0.1 degree
Did a search on there but it isn't showing up? Was a fair while back i suppose........
Doesn't look as funky as yours, must admit, mines just gray _________________ TFA

Yes Pete bought me a temp gun down when he came to stay for the week. A handy and quick tool to use. Tops for testing out the temp gradients in the viv.
Also comes with a holster so you can wear it on yer belt and pretend your in Miami vice whilst doing your daily herp jobs
Also good for taking bodily tempretures isn't that right Pete? _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
