Well I 'rescued' him Off of someone i used to know, he had a cat, bought the monitor and two weeks later the cat was still sitting on top of the tank pouncing everytime he moved. As you can imagine this drove him mad and he wasnt a happy hatchling! I took him in ASAP and sorted him out.

He is 80% tame he will not bite or lash when you pick him up and will not struggle, once out he will come up to you while roaming and walk over you but any sudden movments still scare him and he runs for cover, probably due to the previously mentioned cat scenario.

He is healthy and eats a diet of mice, rats, chicken, boiled egg as well as insects. As you probably already know from the locust post on the feeder forum i have started up my own colony and they are doing great and growing quikc so in bout 4 weeks he should have his own locust supply jsut for him.
