--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey folks.... need help here ASAP.
Got a call this morning from a m8 that had a missing corn hatchling... maybe 2-3 months old.
Finally found him on a cricket trap!
Soaked trap off without skin damage but glue is stuck to him.
I HAVE called the vets...actually 4 of them, including the Zoo vet here in Northern Ireland
I have also spoken to the local reptile shop and breeders.
I ALSO called the manufactures of the roach trap.
Between all of them and myself we have come up with the following....
As i had to go to work I needed a shortterm answer. I soaked her then sprinkled cornflour over her ( the most inert, fine powder I could think of) The vets have agreed with this action.
After speaking with the manufacturer they recommend citrus hand cleaner of which i have 6 different types coming tonight....so i can find the least harsh of them all. The vet has ALSO agreed with this action.
I'll let ya all know how I get in!
Thanks for all advice etc
Thanks
Andy
