My first crested gecko egg hatched yesterday. Here's a picture of the little thing, sadly s/he wouldn't stay still so it's a little blurry.

The egg was incubated in an air-tight container at around 75 to 80 degrees in vermiculite. I added enough water to vermiculite so that when you squeezed it, it formed a ball but no water dripped from it.
The egg was 3/4 buried in this and I opened the container every few days to let some air circulate and to check if the vermiculite was drying out. The egg hatched after 69 days.
I hope this helps. _________________
