Just to let you share my good fortune, I have 9 baby pygmy chams now,11 hatched but 2 hatched premature and didn't make it. The colour variation between all the babies is staggering and I am still amazed that a creature so teeny can be so active! I have another dozen or so eggs due to hatch any day now- so fingers crossed for me! Will be taking pics of newbies soon.
love Jan

Laughing Thanks everyone- 4 hatched today including the eggs which were fused together- not technically twins but thats what their known as in this house !!Dwarf Queen. Pygmy Queen? I have been called a lot in my long and varied life including Queen of Waxworms!!! But at 5ft 2 in my stocking feet I cant qualify for a Pygmy. I am just so excited at having bred these little uns and the growth rate is staggering. Had a massive shift around in the rep room today and discovered that most precious thing- SPACE !!!! I have SPACE and not only that but SURFACES so I'll do the obvoius and FILL IT !!! More Chams here we come,
Love Jan.
PS Pics of new babies tomorrow I hope.
