A few bits n pieces snapped in the dark, pics not very good as was almost pitch black.
Rough Skinned Newts
Algerian Salamanders
Asian Bullfrogs
Emperor / Mandarin Salamanders
Hope you enjoy.
The tanks etc may look a bit bare but thats because I took some stuff out for the shots. I fed them their monthly treat of waxies, some of the waxie may look to big for them but believe me they scoff the lot! _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Yes they are all mine, the pic of the rough skin newts all piled up was what I found when i lifted off their coco hide, the other two tend to stay by the side of the water mini tank. They huddle a lot anyway and seem to get on very well, not seen them fight yet, they appear to be very passive. They should grow to a fair old size. Highly toxic they have the same toxins as a puffer fish and a Komodo Dragon.
Need two thirds land one third water, they come from lower mountainous regions where the air is warm but the water is very cold, so they need a50% water change each week, best to keep the new water in the fridge overnight so it's nice n cold when it goes in.
Apparently if they get eaten by a predator they kill it from within then when the predator dies they crawl out of its mouth, nice!
They are funny to watch when they eat, thye move very slowly and track their prey, then almost stick their noses on the prey before scoffing it. Thye also tend to watch the prey for ages, as if mesmerised. Very interesting newts to keep! _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
