how are you coping with the current heatwave?
these are my first cresties and i have already moved them into the coolest room in the house and still temps are at 28.3 celsius at the moment. this room only gets the sun for a few hours in the evening but i still had a big fan blowing at the vivs all day with the door closed to keep the heat out
i've been worrying about them all day and misted the vis about 5 times so far to keep everything nice and moist.
its driving me round the bend _________________ ULI |

Thats a good idea Jim, going to work. I like the idea of the frozen water bottles as it happens. That has given me an idea for my rough skinned newts they love real cold water as they live near the base of mountainous areas where the waters are way cold but the air is very warm. !
Air con is an option that will cool a room down nicely. Especially a split system, they can be had relatively inexpensively now for a plumbed in system. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
