Anyone got some info (experiance based) on Egyptian Fruit Bats? (or point me the the right direction)

Smelly orrible things, based on a friends colony. You'd be better of getting a raptor of some form in the same space, that way you can feed it on left over rodents Wink

Laughing Dans not far wrong there..they stink and create a hell of a lot of sloppy waste!!!I had a friend that used to keep them..lovely animals but too messy for me.

Large enclosure..lots of fruit and green..don't think they need additional heating.

Diet wise, mix of fruits (soft ones are preferred ie peach texture) and i think he said they like certain flower heads (he isn't in so i can't confirm but when he gets back i'll ask)
Temps wise, in a 16x16x7 enclosure he has 3 spot bulbs (guarded but no thermostat) though again i'm not sure if this is just lighting and will have to wait till he gets back.

Just like to emphasise one last thing.... THEY STINK (even if they are kinda cute)
