I have noticed with my Whites Tree Frogs; that every now and then they will squirt quite a large quantity of water out of their rear ends!
Do they retain this water to help keep them cool and hydrated?
Is it a defence mechanism?
I know it may sound like a daft question, but how do they take on this water, do they drink it or suck it up their rear ends
Indian Yogis can do this, an ancient form of cleansing ones Bowel out by inserting a tube up the rectum and controlling peristalsis contractions, takes a bit of practice! Shankha-Prakshalan is one of the techniques, just engage in the correct posture by you nearest river insert tube up bum and dip tube in river and practice your peristalsis contractions! Basti is yet another technique. Look it up on the web if interested.

Last question; do all frogs do this?
Disclaimer: Please do not try the above technique at home folks as one may injure oneself! _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Might be a defence mechanism - Distraction, Loosing a bit of weight so they can get away a bit quicker...? _________________ Tiger Salamanders (1.2)
