At the moment my Yeman chameleons are feeding on locusts, giant mealworms, waxworms, waxmoths and the on the pothos and ficus plants in their viv. They are given live food so that it is free and from a bowl on the base of the viv. When i feed them they get different livefood each day.
Should i feed more than one type of live food each day?
Will different types of live food fight/kill each other if placed in the same bowl?
just wondering how everyone else offers their chameleons food?

In my opinion I think you could do either, a mix each feed time or just one type of livefood each feed time. I don't think either way would be at all detrimental to the chameleon. I feed mine one type a day due to logistics. Plus I find it easier to monitor what works well and when I have feed what. You may find that the chameleon will just eat it's favourite food if mixing them at feed time? But if one livefood is feed that it will stand more chance of getting eaten? Either way a variety is a good way to go. Also worth considering is the nutritional content of the food items. I would suggest the staple diet be one in high protein calcium content. if feeding just one item of livefood this would be easier to monitor.
Also I find when dusting the livefoods with calcium or vit/mins, that it is best to stick to one livefood and one that the powders readily adhere to, thus ensuring it is all ingested.
To the best of my knowledge I can not think of any livefoods off the top of my head that would scrap it out in the viv, they may well be more concerned about being eaten by a big lizard with a zappy sticky tongue 
Hmmmmmmm reading that back to myself I guess I am coming down on the side of one livefood per session, but in the wild they would not eat just one food-type per day! You could also argue in captivity to feed just one livefood to ensure a correct balance is achieved over a period of time

sorry for all the questions, just there are some things that are not in books and i want my chameleons to be as healthy as possible.

Don't apologise thats what the forum is for sharing info etc.
Nothing is ever cast in stone and it's good to try different things anyway, thats how we all advance and the hobby moves forward.
Good questions to. Of course you want the best for your cham and that is admirable.
