Hi, it`s probably better to keep him as he is. They are very territorial and it`s very doubtful whether a male of his age and size could handle the intrusion into his territory which is by now, so firmly established to him, of another chameleon. There are exceptions to the rule of course but they are rare.

If you were to buy a female, then you would more than likely have to set up her own, equally large accomodation, and only be able to put them together for breeding purposes, which is in itself opening another can of worms again entirely.

You have the best situation that is possable for keeping a single , and very territorial Cham. A lone male. You will have no problems with him getting egg bound with infertile eggs, and he will be happy as Larry being king of the hill, so to speak.

Trust me, and I know that you`re intention is to have the best for the animal, but Yemens, especially individuals that are used to having their own space, do not crave for company. He could well kill a female that was introduced to his territory now. If she wasn`t receptive, through aggression, or if she was sexually receptive, through constant mating in an area that she cannot escape from. Then when she was no longer receptive, just back to darn right aggression.

He`ll be just fine on his own I promise you. Wink

In that scenario I would agree with what Pete said.
